I was born in Tehran, right after the war. I moved out of home just about when I was turning 17. Ever since, I’ve called many other places ‘home’, which in my head is quite a weighty word, well at least in my language. It almost feels like something I’ll be attaching the word to till I’m actually back there again. 
Making sounds, and working with visuals has been one of many forms out there that I’ve really enjoyed playing with; getting excited over finding new ways that I can tell a story. It definitely makes it easier when the form itself has a language of its own.
